Proportion first
The front axle sits 410 mm ahead of the windshield base. That dash-to-axle distance is what gives the R1 its long-nose stance.
A two-seat roadster built around a carbon tub, a high-revving twin-turbo six and a soft-top that disappears in eleven seconds. No screens to swipe. Just you, the wheel and the horizon.
01 Design
A long hood, a cab pushed rearward and a tail cut short. Every surface on the R1 started as a pencil line on paper before it ever met a wind tunnel. Tap the markers to see what each line is doing.

Every opening moves air: brake cooling, intercooler feed or underbody extraction. If it doesn't work, it isn't on the car.
47.2 inches tall and 74 inches wide. It's compact enough for a back road and still puts the driver right at the center of the car.
02 Performance
A 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six with a flat torque curve and a 7,800 rpm redline. It sits behind the front axle and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch.

03 Engineering
We went after lightness, stiffness and feedback and left out anything that didn't help them.
A bonded carbon-fiber passenger cell with cast aluminum subframes front and rear. Torsional stiffness is 38,000 Nm/deg, rare for a car with no fixed roof.
38k Nm/°A deployable rear lip and a flat floor with a functional diffuser. 210 lb of downforce at 150 mph.
An insulated fabric soft-top that you can raise or lower at up to 30 mph.
Double wishbones at all four corners with adaptive dampers in three modes: Road, Sport and Track.
Physical switches, a mechanical gear linkage and a single 7" display that stays dark unless you need it.
Carbon body panels, forged wheels, a lithium starter battery and thin-wall exhaust. Every gram was argued over, and the car weighs 7.0 lb per horsepower.
04 Configure
Four finishes, all deliberately dark. Pick one and add a caliper color. Your choice is saved with your registration.
Obsidian Gloss · Brass calipers
05 Specifications
All figures are preliminary manufacturer targets for pre-production vehicles. They are not EPA-certified and may change before production. Acceleration figures are for a closed course; always drive within the law.
06 The process
Join the allocation list. It's free and doesn't commit you to anything.
Get invited to see the prototype and, where possible, ride along.
A one-to-one session to choose your finish, interior and options.
Each car is built by a small team and delivered personally.
